In this painting, a palm tree in the foreground makes the skyscrapers and the city, though huge in scale, seem diminished and equal to it.

They also connect.

It looks as if a palm tree transforms into a building, and vice versa. The center of perspective, the center of the palm branch, and the sun are at the same point.

And that point is a source of everything!
