Description
Escape XIV is an imagined architectural composition in nature.
The shapes are calming, without the sharp angles typical of urban landscapes. The ochre-red color used on the building is a natural earth pigment.
There are three types of perspective used to present depth in the painting: linear, atmospheric, and coloristic perspectives.
Daylight from the horizon and artificial light from the building (achieved with gold color) evoke the atmosphere of the evening and a meditative state.
