Description

The landscape was sketched on the coast of Provence. Many artists in the past went to the south of France to find inspiration.

A vacation is inspiration.

It’s an opportunity to look at things in a relaxed manner without feeling any obligation to work, and that’s when it’s best seen.

I chose an elliptical canvas because its shape is well associated with the bay. I also used a lot of blue shades, especially turquoise, to evoke the Mediterranean clear sea.

The painting is signed on the back and ready to hang.
