Conceptual work “Aging”

The artwork ‘Aging’ is a conceptual work created for The Body Language exhibition in Venice (The Room Contemporary Art Space). It represents the change of the human body and the acceptance of mortality. Looking from the left to right there is a “written” transformation of the body and mind which ends up with visible construction. The painting becomes the body itself.
The frame was cut off in the middle of the work to present not only aging but also our freedom and independence that comes with experience. So, in the end, this painting cannot be considered as positive or negative, it could be only the truth which art is to present and to deal with.
